TV

Brat Camp - Channel 4 (Tuesdays, 10pm)

New season in the Brat Camp series where troubled daughters are packed off with their teary-eyed mums somewhere vile and remote in the US to try and sort their issues out. Boo hoo.

These poor mums have had enough of their daughter's continual bitching so what's left to do? No choice - humiliate them in front of thousands of viewers and shame them into behaving. Good work.

Focusing on one mum-daughter duo each week, this is annoyingly compelling TV which you just can't tear yourself away from.

DOVE CHOICE

Medium - Sci Fi Channel (Mondays, 9pm)

pattiePatricia Arquette is completely believable as medium and mother-of-three Allison Dubois, who uses her talents working for the District Attorney's office. She sees and dreams about dead people, knowing in advance what mischief is afoot - you know the drill.

The best bit about this show is the excellent script and also the casting - Allison Dubois' middle child Bridgett, played by the adorable Maria Clark, is pure genius at work. A double bill on a Monday night makes the perfect start to the week and is tones better than 'Ghost Whisperer'.

STAG CHOICE

Film

ratRatatouille: Rat-a-too-ee (Disney)

Don't poo poo the idea before you've really thought about it. What nicer way to get over your comedown from a heavy weekend's raving than spend 110 minutes plonked in front of a film about an animated
young food-loving French countryside rat who aims to turn around the fortune of a once fancy Parisian restaurant.

With character names such as Linguini and Anton Ego, how can you possibly go wrong? And as the great UB40 once said: 'There's a rat in mi kitchen what am I gonna do?'
