Big Brother 8 - Channel 4 (every frigging night)

You know the addictive chemical that's allegedly put in burgers to make you crave that fake excuse for real meat? Well, they've put it in this new series of BB8. We're hooked. It's the cheeseburger of TV - a bimbo bun stuffed with a few token blacks, a smelly old lady, a she/man and a gay.

Tasty as hell.

Oceans 13 (Warner Bros)

The third in the, erm, trilogy, arrives to the UK on an exhilarating wave of sex (Clooney, Pitt, Affleck, Damon), thrills (casino heists), and danger (hospitalisation and double crossing best friends). It's got it all. Never has the casino world of Las Vegas been so glamourous.

Shame in reality it is just full of overweight, pale losers from the Mid West chainsmoking fags and drinking watered down Martini all throwing away their life savings. Oh, and producer David Holmes has composed the soundtrack - a smart move from the old days as a techno DJ and hairdresser from Belfast.

FILM TO... HONE YOUR SWAGGER TO
5 films selected and reviewed by Tim Wagner

Tim Wagner is one half of New York 80s electro/disco outfit 33Hz whose new single 'Paris Texas' is out next month. Here Tim shares with us the movies that make him swagger.

1. Vanishing Point (1971)
This film follows Kowalski, a man who lives for the buzz. On copius amounts of amphetamines, Kowalski drives from Denver to San Francisco to evade the police. Nothing is more seductive than a man living in the moment.

2. The Taking Of The Pelham 123 (1974)
Walter Matthau stars as transit police Lieutenant Zachary Garber. Matthau (along with pre-Seinfeld Jerry Stiller as his partner) tries to foil a hijacking of a NYC subway train with a constant banter of classic New York cynicism.

3. Teen Wolf (1985)
The real star of this movie is not Michael J. Fox but the great Jerry Levine as Rupert 'Stiles' Stillinski. Stiles surfs on top of cars and is the MC of every party. Stiles is the man I aspire to be. It's in me somewhere, I'm sure.

4. Better Off Dead (1985)
The best comedy characters, ever: the clueless mom, the drug addled friend, the befuddled dad and Scooter Stevens as Badger Meyer - the over achiever. He designs laser guns and manages to attract trashy women. I admire his dedication to sex and science fiction. I think of him often.

5. Casablanca (1942)

There is so much swagger in this movie, I love Claude Rains as French Police Head of Casablanca, Renault. But I feel that the Swagger award has to go to Humphrey Bogart’s Rick - he's just full of it.
