This has to be the most entertaining series out of the reality talent show genre. Jugglers, dancers, wizards, illusionists? Can it get even more ridiculous? Yes, probably. The 'BGT' addiction starts here.
FILM
Son Of Rambow (Garth Jennings, 2008)
This is an adorable movie set on a long English summer in the 80s. The story is a moving comedy about the friendship and growing pains of two young boys with big ambitions.
'Son Of Rambow' is the title of these youngsters home movie, shot through the eyes of Will, the son of a Bethren family - whom are regarded as God's 'chosen ones'. In a child's terms this purely means that he has never been allowed to watch telly or listen to music. A total bummer, until he forms a friendship with Lee - the local school tear-away.
The title may have given the element of the plot away - Lee introduces young innocent Will to Rambo: First Blood, and is convinced to be the stuntman in their home movie. Popularity envelops them and their film and precious friendship is pushed to the limit on the arrival of French exchange student, Didier Revol.
A beautiful and compelling movie - 'Son Of Rambow' is not to be missed.
