TV
Supersize Vs Superskinny (Channel 4, Tuesdays, 8pm)
Society's obsession with our bodies continues with this new series. As the Government continues to battle against the rise in obesity and attempts to raise nutrition awareness, the TV execs just cannot help themselves by plunging in, fork first.
'Supersize Vs Superskinny' is the Wife Swap of diet shows - car crash TV fodder that we just can't resist.
Each week a big fatty and serious skinny swap lives and eating habits in a humiliating, twisted way of showing the current crisis that is occurring in today's culture.
FILM
Juno (Jason Reitman, 2008)
Surprisingly, this new movie about teenage pregnancy has been nominated for four Oscars. Although honorable in its ability to address such issues, whether it deserves such accolades is questionable.
'Juno' follows the journey of 16-year-old Juno MacGuff, when she accidentally gets up-the-duff by her pal, Paulie.
This film examines the issues surrounding abortion, adoption and family relationships all executed in a insightful manner and wrapped up in consumerable red-carpet humour.
If only all teenage pregnancies could be so charming - a walk through Lewisham Shopping Centre would reveal a far less palatable story.
