DJ Antic Dishes His Dating Dirt
Published 12-05-2008
Well, what can I say. Last month I was in the flushes of new romance with a girl I met - well saw - in HMV in Kingston. I hung in her pub every night and in the end security barred me. Oh well, at least I'm putting myself out there, right? I always thought I would be married with kids by the time I was 25, but, alas, I am soon going to be 37 and it just hasn't happened for me. Most of my mates are hooked up - the majority of whom with a second or third child on the way - but not me. Not yet.
But you know what? It dawned on me what a brilliant independent life I have. Aside from still living with my mum I can do whatever I like, whenever I like. I've got no-one to nag at me (except the old dear when I leave my socks lying about, silly cow), and I have no kids swallowing up all my cash. So really I've got the best deal out there. Right?
I may be single and not getting any oats right now, but I've decided to start saving myself for the right person. Abstaining from any nooky might be just the thing I need, and who knows, I might even discover a new spiritual side to myself. Anything's worth a shot. Now where did my Cliff Richard biography get to...
