Oh god! Christmas is coming and I need to find myself a boyfriend!

There's no worse time of the year than that hideous sinking feeling of being alone when couples all around you are buying each other expensive gifts and doing all of that revolting lovey dovey stuff. Urgh.

Ask any single girl and they will say the same. Going to visit the family over the Christmas season with no bloke in tow is the most demoralising time of the year.

Yeah right! Come on sisters, use your chocolateloaves. The Christmas season is the best time of the year to be single. There are parties on every night, everyone's pissed up, and you have the genius excuse of "oh, well it was Christmas" when you have embarrassed yourself in a fantastic manner.

I do it every year. Last year at a posh hotel party two days before Christmas I snogged four blokes on the same night. Two in the toilets, one on the dance floor and oneon the night bus home. But it doesn't matter, Christmas cheer is a green light to let loose that demon within - carte blanche to do whatever the hell you feel like.

So rinse away those thoughts of loneliness you sad losers with several glasses of champagne and capitalize on all that free spirit.
