It can be the smallest things that can make or break a blossoming relationship.
When you first meet that person that makes your eyes sparkle and loins quiver, you are blissfully unaware of those annoying, mind-bendingly irritating habits which will, in a matter of weeks, come well and truly into fruition.
And every time you see the light you will kick yourself for not noticing it any sooner - love is blind, after all. And it can just take one thing, at one time, to make you kick Cupid to the curb.
For me it's always issues around manners that bug the hell out of me. A few months ago I was dating an architect who was funny, intelligent and fabulously well dressed - but by the third time he didn't open a door for me it was game over.
Then there was the budding music producer who would have made Johnny Depp look like Gareth Keenan from The Office. He was a superstud in bed and I could hear people gasp when he entered a room, but the day he dropped his fork on the floor during lunch, picked it up and pronged it back into his Caesar salad, I never took his calls again.
Never mind. I'm sure the perfect man is still out there. Somewhere.
