Want to be the first to know what's happening in the world of music, food, film, fashion, and sports and have access to your very own agony aunt?
Well, the Culture Pages here at staganddove let you have it all. And members, we want your feedback - the comments section are gagging to hear your views.
The heat is sizzling, and, finally, summer is here. But before you flake out in the garden or head out to the park, check out what we have got going on for you in this week's installment of all things happening.
In 'Into Music' we marvel at the re-issue of the superb 'Beeper' by The Count & Sinden and revel in the new buzz around The Bees new compilation 'Sound Selection'. We're also chomping at the bit with the excitement of our brand new night at East Village and whacking up our dubstep favourites in honour of forthcoming bash 'Steppa's Delight'.
In 'Into Film' stunning singer/songwriter Miranda Barber share the films that she has secret nibbles to, and we fan ourselves over the excitement that is 'Entourage'. Not only that, but Mike Leigh's new movie 'Happy-Go-Lucky' also gets the critic's eye.
In 'Hot Action' our very own Lulu Le Vay gets all hot around the collar when she takes her new boyfriend for a punch up in the park, and in 'Sounding Off' we decide to embrace the hedonism of summer.
And just when you thought there couldn't possibly be more, we have our dear Love Coach dishing out her valuable advice and our stag columnist in 'Out On The Tiles' veering closer to a life of abstinence. Read on...

Into Music
Single of the week
The Count & Sinden 'Beeper' (Domino)
The ever-expanding and genre-busting label Domino are quick-off-the-mark to license this baby. 'Beeper' is Herve & Sinden's biggest banger to date, and has been given a new lease of life with new mixes to die for from trendies Sunship, Fake Blood and A Trak.
A must-have for every muso and die hard fashionista's record collection.
Stag choice
Best of the rest:
Various - 'DJ Classic Mastercuts EP' (DJ Classic Mastercuts) - Rediscover those hard to find tunes by heroes such as Mr Fingers and Le Noiz on this brand new label.
Cut Copy - 'Lights & Music' (Modular) - Tim Goldsworthy of DFA co-produced this 7" so no wonder it's flying out of the stores.
Aeroplane 'Whispers - (Hercules & The Love Affair remix) - Can these disco magicians possibly conjure up more goodies after this?
Album of the week
The Bees - Presents Sound Selection (Tirk)
One of the most interesting independent's in the UK at the moment has just released this coup of a compilation by Isle of Whiters, The Bees.
Famed for their debut Mercury Prize nominated album 'Sunshine Hit Me', 'Sound Selection' - named after their legendary DJ team - has been especially curated, featuring exclusive and unreleased tracks from their new album 'Octopus'. The Bees have dug deep and unearthed some gems, showcasing their love of the music - all music - by including a wide selection of genres, from dirty funk and deep soul through to hip hop, reggae and folk. Highlights include Quasimoto's 'Phony Game', Can's 'I'm Green', The Bees' 'Papa Echo' and Donovan's 'There is a Mountain'.
The mix is full of character and offers a enviable insight into the musical minds of one of the UK's finest bands. It's time to fall for the buzz all over again.
Dove Choice
Best of the rest:
Jamie Lidell - 'Jim' (Warp) - The man with the voice is back with this killer new album.
Portishead - 'Third LP' (Island) - A stunning third offering from the Bristol massive.
MGMT - 'Oracular Spectacular' (Sony BMG) - This Brooklyn duo's acclaimed debut lives up to the hype.

Hot Action!
As you may know, I'm into a bit of Thai boxing and kick boxing. Going for a punch up in the gym with my personal trainer is always a brilliant way to stay fit as well as shaking off the stress and frustrations of modern day life. But, my latest discovery is having a slap about with the new boyfriend, out of gym hours. This, I can assure you, is way more fun. A quick online purchase of hook and jab pads soon allowed me to drag my man into the local park last Saturday morning. And my, what an effect it had on the pair of us.
After a mere ten minutes of throwing some hooks, crosses, jabs and upper cuts, we'd broken a serious sweat and both felt so randy that we nearly wrestled each other to the grass and did it right there and then - in front of the dog walkers and yummy mummies out for a stroll. I've discovered a new kind of foreplay, and it's as hot as hell.
But never fear, if you're single and looking for fun, join a local boxing club and I guarantee there'll be plenty of totty there to have a tussle with. It will keep you fit, make you feel fantastic, and get those horny juices flowing. Carumba.
